Raf Simons (RUNNER) FW21 track shoes fell off

Raf Simons (RUNNER) is in his third season, and it can be said that the collection has officially found its marks. Launching new interpretations of familiar models such as the Cycloid, Cylon and Solaris, the sneaker-shoe hybrids worn on the catwalks of Simons are served up in looks more technical than ever, resulting in the Belgian designer’s best shoes since his birth. passage at adidas.

Starting with the Cycloid-4-2001 in black, we find the familiar ankle boot style – which is made up of 50% cowhide, 35% nylon, and 15% cow suede – features a new heel unit. This new heel is similar to the midsole found on the Raf Simons x adidas Bounce from FW14, appearing with an abstract circular cutout look that is attached to a Raf Simons branded heel clip. At the back is a zipper, while at the front the almond tip remains.

Two pairs of Cylon-22 sneakers, one black and the other anthracite, join the range of boots. To change things up, the upper was mostly made from nylon while leather now hits the center panel in an abstract fashion, before suede was used to detail the toe and heel areas. A zip still appears at the back, and the architectural sole is the same as before.

Last but not least is the Solaris-22 Low also in black, and again is made largely from nylon with leather and suede applications replicating the design of the aforementioned Cylon-22.

Raf Simons’ FW21 Collection (RUNNER) can be seen above and is available for purchase from Machine now.
