The Cariuma x 4ocean sneakers are available in a new color

Cariuma’s first collection with 4ocean launched in June and featured its Ibi line of sneakers in two new colors, a deep sea blue and a crisp white. This time around, the companies have teamed up to create all-black versions of each pair.

The sock-like fabric of the shoes is made from 100% recycled plastic. According to the brand, it requires minimal cutting and less labor than other materials, which eliminates waste and lowers manufacturing emissions. The outsoles are made from sugarcane rubber, while memory foam insoles and recycled plastic laces tie it all together. Like all Cariuma sneakers, they are machine washable and light as a feather. If you’re not sure which style is right for you, the versatile low-top Ibi is a great place to start.

Those looking for the least maintenance option in the collection should take a look at the 4ocean Ibi slip-ons, which swap the laces for elasticated side tabs. Finally, the high-top Ibis are ideal for anyone who needs extra ankle support. Each pair of Cariuma x 4ocean sneakers is made to order in the brand’s factories approved by the International Labor Organization, preventing the creation of excess products and ensuring uncompromising quality at all levels.

The new Cariuma x 4ocean sneakers are available in sizes 5 to 13, but it’s unclear how long they’ll be sold in that color, so get yours as soon as possible. For every pair sold, the 4ocean team will remove 2 pounds of plastic from oceans, rivers and other waterways. Plus, the all-black exterior of the shoes will stand up to visible wear and tear, making them perfect for the upcoming winter.
