The adidas Yeezy Knit Runner Stone Carbon

What’s up, everyone? It’s Legendary Lade, and I’m back with my latest sneaker review. This week I’m taking a look at the adidas Yeezy Knit Runner Stone Carbon. It’s been a busy year so far for adidas Yeezy, and we’re just entering Q2. What started as a promise to make Yeezys more consistent and readily available has translated into new drops and restocks to the approval of fans and sneakerheads alike. Along the way, Yeezy has been able to introduce new styles in the form of new lasts, the latest being the Knit Runner which debuted last year in a sultry colorway.

Following the US-exclusive release of the Sulfurs in 2021, the Stone Carbons are reintroducing the Knit Runner worldwide in earth tones – specifically, dark charcoal at the base and rusty brown at the sock line . Its upper is made entirely of adidas’ PrimeKnit technology, which is knitted in one piece instead of a bunch of materials. PrimeKnit is an extremely lightweight sneaker, not to mention the sock-like fit you notice right away. As far as quality goes, it’s a cushioned sneaker with protection on all sides thanks to the knit. The shoe really takes shape once you put it on, so the look will vary but as a stand-alone I find it interesting – especially when you hold it vertically. In my opinion, it looks like a stylish car, especially considering the side indentations that could double as car doors.

Details include the size displayed at the top of the sock line near the ankles and the all-black outsole with its mesmerizing zigzag lines that provide the base of the shoe. I have to let you know the size as it can be tricky. Adidas suggests you go half a size up due to the tight, snug fit, but I find you can comfortably go up a full size.

The adidas Yeezy Knit RNR Stone Carbon was released in March 2022 and sold for $200.
